by downloading, installing, or using the droomy app or web viewer, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and our privacy policy. if you do not agree, please do not use droomy.

droomy is provided as-is, free of charge. we reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. continued use after changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms.

droomy is an ephemeral, anonymous file-sharing service. users can create temporary pods, share a qr code or link, and collaboratively drop and download files — with no accounts required. pods and all their contents are permanently deleted when their time-to-live (ttl) expires.

droomy is intended for casual, legitimate file-sharing — at parties, classrooms, office meetings, or anywhere you need to move files fast. it is not a permanent storage solution.

you must be at least 13 years old to use droomy. by using the app, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

if you are under 18, you confirm that you have parental or guardian consent to use droomy, and that a parent or guardian has reviewed and agrees to these terms on your behalf.

you also agree not to attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, overload, or attack droomy's infrastructure, or exploit any bug or vulnerability for unauthorized access.

automated pod creation, bot-based uploading, or any use that generates abnormal load on our servers is strictly prohibited.

you retain full ownership of all files you upload to droomy. we do not claim any intellectual property rights over your content.

by uploading content to a pod, you grant droomy a limited, temporary, non-exclusive license to store and serve that content to other users in the same pod — solely for the purpose of delivering the service. this license expires automatically when the pod's ttl runs out and the content is deleted.

you represent and warrant that you have the right to share any content you upload and that doing so does not violate any third-party rights or applicable laws.

pod links (droomy.com/[pod-id]) are shareable and accessible to anyone who has them. droomy does not provide password protection for pods in the current version. share your pod link responsibly.

you are solely responsible for who you share your pod link with. droomy is not liable for unauthorized access if you distribute your pod link publicly or carelessly.

once a pod expires, its link becomes permanently invalid. we do not offer recovery of expired pods or their contents.

droomy enforces the following limits per drop session: a maximum of 20 mb total per drop, with a hard cap of 10 mb per individual file. these limits may change as the service evolves.

the app applies automatic client-side compression to images and videos prior to upload. the resulting file may differ from the original in quality or size.

droomy is not a backup or archival service. do not rely on droomy as the only copy of any important file.

droomy uses a community-driven reporting system. any user can report a file or nickname as nsfw, spam, or offensive. reports are reviewed by automated systems.

automated actions: a file receiving 3+ reports is automatically deleted. a nickname receiving 3+ reports is replaced with "anonymous" in that pod. a pod receiving 5+ reports is force-expired early.

soft-bans: a device responsible for 3 auto-deleted files is blocked from creating new pods for 24 hours. repeated or severe violations may result in a permanent device-level ban.

we reserve the right to remove any content and terminate access for any device that violates these terms, at our sole discretion and without prior notice.

droomy is free to use and is supported by ads served through google admob. by using droomy, you agree to the display of these ads within the app.

droomy is not responsible for the content of third-party ads. any interactions with ads, including visiting advertiser websites or making purchases, are solely between you and the advertiser.

admob may use your device's advertising id to serve personalized ads. you can opt out through your device settings. see our privacy policy for details.

droomy is provided "as is" and "as available" without any warranties, express or implied. we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, error-free operation, or that files will always be accessible within the pod's ttl.

droomy is not liable for any loss of data, loss of files, or damages arising from your use of the service — including but not limited to files deleted early by moderation, service outages, or data loss from infrastructure failures.

to the maximum extent permitted by law, droomy's total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid to use droomy — which is zero, because it's free.

we reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to droomy for any device, at any time, without notice, if we believe the device has been used to violate these terms.

we also reserve the right to discontinue droomy entirely or modify its features at any time. we will make a reasonable effort to notify users via an in-app notice before any major discontinuation.

these terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of india. any disputes arising from these terms or your use of droomy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in patna, bihar, india.

if any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
